Event Coordinator – Corporate and Social Events

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate meetings, galas, and private events.
  • Communicate with vendors, sponsors, and venue representatives.
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and logistics plans.
  • Manage onsite event execution and troubleshoot real-time issues.
  • Oversee post-event evaluation and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of event coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends for events as needed.

Work Environment

  • Location: Chicago, IL
  • Work Type: Onsite with event site travel required.
  • Travel: 20-30% travel for event locations.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: $54,000 – $70,000 annually, based on event portfolio experience.
  • Benefits: Healthcare, travel reimbursement, and performance bonuses.
