Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of global Real World Evidence (RWE) strategies to support the value and impact of the company’s portfolio.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Market Access to align RWE initiatives with strategic goals.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and dissemination of real-world studies, including observational studies, registries, and pragmatic trials.
- Ensure RWE strategies meet regulatory and payer requirements in global markets.
- Guide external collaborations with academic institutions, healthcare systems, and research networks.
- Drive innovation in data analytics, leveraging electronic health records, claims data, and patient-reported outcomes to inform decision-making.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing global RWE team, fostering a culture of scientific rigor and strategic excellence.
- Represent the organization in high-level stakeholder discussions, conferences, and regulatory engagements related to RWE.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent) in epidemiology, public health, health economics, or a related field.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology, with a significant focus on real-world evidence or health outcomes research.
- Proven experience developing and implementing global RWE strategies across multiple regions and therapeutic areas.
- In-depth understanding of global regulatory and payer requirements for real-world data.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong track record of scientific publication and stakeholder engagement.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA, with flexibility for remote collaboration. Travel required for global team meetings and conferences (up to 20%).
Salary & Benefits
Compensation: $212,000 – $391,000
